However, you may not be aware of how numerous they are and that you don’t have to wait until you turn 65 to take advantage of them. Senior discounts and perks are waiting at restaurants, retail stores, hotels, car rental agencies, grocery stores, and all kinds of entertainment venues. You can even save money on banking and pets!

Check out your favorite places to shop, dine, and have fun to find out if they offer an unadvertised discount. Some of them probably do, and you can help your budget by taking advantage of them.

Here are a few examples of discounts for seniors in various categories, some of which require proof of AARP membership:
