The New Hanover County Senior Resource Center

The New Hanover County Senior Resource Center is a State recognized “Senior Center of Excellence.” People 55 and over can participate in our services.

Services we offer:

  • Low Income Energy Assistance Program

NUTRITION PROGRAM

  • Promotes the Health and Well-being of Older Adults
  • Delays Adverse Health Conditions
  • Allows Individual to Remain Independent as Long as Possible 

LIFE ENRICHMENT

The mission of the Life Enrichment Program is to provide quality and responsive services to older adults and their families. It is the goal of this program to promote social, physical, economic, and emotional well-being while encouraging maximum independence and improving the quality of life for older adults and their caregivers.

TRANSPORTATION

The transportation program through the Senior Resource Center offers medical transportation for seniors aged 60 or older living in New Hanover County who are not receiving Medicaid.
