The Wellington at Southport residents have access to their choice of home health agencies that provide regular personal care assessments. Our Assisted Living, Memory Care, and Independent Living services are tailored to individual needs and offer escort and transfer assistance, incontinence care, medication management and reminders, and special nutritional counseling depending on the level of care. Residents have 24-hour access to licensed nurses in case of any emergencies. Special bathing, dressing and grooming assistance is coordinated on a resident-by-resident basis.
Support services at The Wellington at Southport also include recreation and entertainment programming and classes for wellness, walking, balance, and exercise to keep our residents physically fit and challenged. In addition, we have a house physician that makes a visit once a week so residents don’t have to leave the community to receive medical care.
