We decided to move to Independent Living because our children were concerned about our ability to safely take care of the house. We looked at 6 different communities and chose The Wellington at Dayton for many reasons but we were insistent on a 2 bedroom, 2 bath apartment with a washer and dryer. We didn’t like the idea of waiting for a machine in a common laundry room. We have been reassured that we made the right decision to move here especially during this unprecedented time. We feel safe and secure here. We would be very frantic living at home during this pandemic. We are looking forward to attending our church and having our friends visit us again when things are better.
Everyone is very friendly here. I am a very active person. I love the arts and crafts, word games, cards and Bingo. I even get to call Bingo once a week! I have a third-floor, one-bedroom apartment with a balcony and a studio for my arts and crafts. There is ample storage, a large closet in my studio and a walk-in closet by my bathroom too. I have many new friends and I don’t have to eat alone!
