Amenities
“The Chamberlin is my dream home. It’s the place I would love to wake up every morning to take a stroll along the boardwalk overlooking the Chesapeake Bay. I have had the pleasure of eating at one of the restaurants for Sunday brunch and can bear witness to the best foods that will satisfy anyone’s appetite. The view over the Chesapeake Bay is priceless. With Fort Monroe as her home, tenants have access to its beach, boat docks, fishing, bicycling trails, museums, and much more.”
“The Chamberlin is a wonderful place right on the Chesapeake Bay. It’s so beautiful. The reason I went with that is because the rent was guaranteed for life. As long as I stay there, I don’t have any increase. I signed the contract and got the apartment and everything. It is independent living and the people there are just so wonderful. I found it to be very friendly, very warm and receiving, and very accommodating to seniors. A lot of wonderful senior activities are planned. I just fell in love with it, and the apartment was gorgeous .”
“The Chamberlin is an Independent (not an Assisted) Living Community of persons age 55 and up. The location, gorgeous views, indoor pool, gym, and included cleaning services, meals and utilities make this historic facility an economically ideal place in which to live. There is always a variety of events, activities, and entertainment for the residents to enjoy. They recognize that everyone does not have the same taste in that regard. Residents are always about playing a friendly game of poker, billiards, ping pong, American mahjong or having a cocktail in the bar. Management and staff try their best to accommodate. Did I mention that right outside our back door is the beautiful Chesapeake Bay, the Fort Monroe beach, the Paradise Ocean club, Mango Mangeaux restaurant and a variety of other outside venues for your dining and entertainment pleasure? So, if you are 55, alive, and ready to thrive consider the Chamberlin as your new residence of choice! Schedule a tour today!!!”
