Serene Suites Premier Memory Care

My aunt was the very first resident at Serene Suites in Blue Ash. From that first day, she was welcomed as family. She immediately developed a strong bond with the entire staff. She was home. The facility has a bright, cheerful, homey feel. The resident rooms are spacious and well-designed. I've visited other facilities that were just the opposite- dark, dreary and unwelcoming. Their surroundings definitely affect the well-being of a person with dementia. As Serene Suites opened in 2020, the year of Covid-19, visitations were carried out accordingly, with PPE and social distancing. The owner and staff supplemented visits by sending me text updates, pictures and even a video of various activities. This helped me immensely, as I, as her former caregiver, had a harder time adjusting to the change than she did. She was being pampered and entertained, and never seemed to question her move to the facility. I could see that she loved the staff and the staff loved her. Her diet changed and Serene Suites took extra steps to see that she kept eating. A puree diet does not look appetizing, piles of mush on a plate. The owner purchased silicone forms to make the food look more palatable. The chicken looked like a chicken leg, the green beans looked like a serving of green beans, etc. This demonstrates their extra care and attention to detail, as well as their concern for residents. Thank you Serene Suites for taking care of my girl.

Being able to visit our loved one in a safe and secure environment has reduced our stress enormously. It’s evident when we visit how much she enjoys being surrounded by the loving staff. She often refers to the staff members as “my friends”. The care and concern of the staff has exceeded our expectations. We are so grateful. We only wish we had brought her to Serene earlier! Thank you truly for all you are doing for Margie! We know she is happy and thriving as much as possible.
