At Hooverwood Living, we provide personalized care that’s designed to address all of our seniors’ needs, both physical and emotional. Whether you’re looking for yourself or a loved one, we can tailor our services to ensure our seniors receive the support they need to thrive and live comfortably. With a range of services available onsite, our residents have access to a continuum of care, including Rehabilitation Therapy, Kraft Commons Assisted Living, Skilled Nursing, Memory Care and more. Hooverwood Living is also home to The Shalom Sanctuary Center for Elder Abuse, which is the only elder abuse shelter in Indianapolis.
Founded in 1902, Hooverwood was first named the Jewish Shelter House. It transitioned to the Borinstein Home in 1929 and became known as Hooverwood in 1970. We’re proud to have upheld our Jewish values and traditions for so many years, offering care and services to those in our community for more than a century. As a constituent agency of the Jewish Federation of Greater Indianapolis, we uphold the values and traditions of Judaism while welcoming residents of all faiths.
At Hooverwood, our goal is to provide a home where residents can thrive. We care for the whole person in an energetic and social environment, where each day offers opportunities to do something new.
