“Carriage Court is an exemplary institution. My dad was in its memory care unit for 22 months before he passed at age 94 (17 of those during coronavirus). I can’t say enough about how at home the staff made him feel. The aides were so positive, cheerful, and caring with all the residents; I never once saw any of them in a “bad mood.” My dad and his fellow memory care residents always looked contented, clean, maintained, and alert (each to their abilities) week after week (when the virus closed in-person visits, staff set up videocams for family right near the center of action). The memory care unit even looks like a home, so much so that my dad would look around and say “this is a really nice home.” But staff at all levels were caring, considerate, and knowledgeable, as well as responsive and proactive in engaging with family. I cannot imagine finding a better facility than Carriage Court, and I certainly know no facility in our family’s wide-ranging search for a place for our dad came even close to what we felt from our very first visit to this facility. That first impression only got better and better.”
