Alois Alzheimer Center opened in 1987 as the first specialized facility dedicated to the care, treatment and study of Alzheimer’s disease.
We have a strong belief that individuals with Dementia/Alzheimer’s disease deserve a full and happy life, providing special programs and environments to enhance function and experience a good quality of life.
At Alois we offer 5 distinct neighborhoods starting with mild Dementia and progressing through all the stages even to severe or end stage Dementia.
We are able to progress with your loved one in the appropriate environment and create care plans and activities that are dedicated just to them.
We offer Caregiver Seminars that are open to the Community to educate them on taking care of their loved one at home.
The staff at The Alois Alzheimer Center immediately began to establish a relationship with my loved one based on trust, respect, and yes, HUMOR. I was so impressed with the consideration, caring, confidence and professionalism of his caregivers. They had clearly been through this many times before and they knew exactly how to gain his trust. The Alois Center staff has guided me tirelessly. With their continued help, it may just be possible for me to survive this traumatic chapter that was handed down to my loved one and to me nearly four years ago.
I left and knew that she’d be taken care of, never questioned it. Always got a call for anything out of the ordinary.
We are very pleased with the service and care for our Mom. Everyone always treats her with the utmost care and respect and our Mom is very thankful that she is at this facility.
The staff is always attentive to the residents. They answer all of my questions and keep me informed of what I need to provide for my friend. I’m thankful that I found The Alois Alzheimer Center. Thank you Alois staff for your service and wonderful facility.
