Visiting Angels Announces…. Very Special Angel We wanted to give recognition to our very special “Angel“, Linda W. It was brought to our attention by our client, Mrs. Barb M, that Linda saved her life and she was eternally grateful. A short time ago while Linda was at Barb’s and while she was eating her breakfast Barb began to choke on a piece of bacon. Immediately going into action Linda performed an Abdominal Thrust, formerly known as the Heimlich maneuver. An airway obstruction can lead to a loss of consciousness and death but thanks to Linda’s training and quick thinking Barb is here today. Barb called the office to personally praise Linda’s quick actions and wanted us to know what an “Angel” Linda is to her. Mike Schroth, owner, stopped in for a visit to personally thank Linda for her life saving action and to visit with Barb. Linda is indeed our “Angel“!

Visiting Angels Cincinnati West – Caregiver of the Month of October
Congratulations to Jennifer V. for being selected Caregiver of the Month for October. She has been a caregiver with Visiting Angels since July of 2019. Jen has a wonderful work ethic and when asked what her favorite local place to go she responded, “to visit my clients.” One of her clients recently said, “Jen is an angel and I look forward to her visits every week. She is so deserving of this award.” Jen received a $100.00 Visa Gift card, flowers and recognition in our monthly newsletter as well as our on website. She is now eligible for the 2023 Caregiver of the Year Award to be announced in January 2024. Congratulations, Jen!
Mom wanted to stay home and I was able to keep her home until the last couple of months. Visiting Angels made that possible. Thank you so much!
