Senior CommUnity Care of North Carolina is a new health care program for seniors living in Wake, Durham and Granville Counties. Senior CommUnity Care of North Carolina is a PACE (Program of All-Inclusive Care for the Elderly). This program provides many health care services for seniors living at home who need help with daily activities. We are a service of Volunteers of America, a non-profit, faith based organization. The PACE Health Center is an important part of Senior CommUnity Care of North Carolina.
Here, seniors receive health care, nutritious meals and participate in activities with others so they can remain active, socialize and make new friends. The Center offers one location where doctors, nurses and other health care professionals can deliver treatment and monitor changes in a participant’s health. Senior CommUnity Care of North Carolina provides support so seniors can live independently for as long as possible.
Transportation to the Center is included. Volunteers of America Carolinas is one of the largest non-profit providers of housing services for modest income persons in the Carolinas. We help provide hope, support and social services to communities, families, and individuals.
Our mission is to recognize each one’s dignity, empower people to achieve their goals and realize their potential. At Volunteers of America, we are more than a nonprofit organization. We are a ministry of service that includes nearly 16,000 paid, professional employees dedicated to helping those in need rebuild their lives and reach their full potential.
